As mentioned on my article Great Vic Bike Ride 2019 – Where is David? He is riding the Great Ocean Road, my wife Jennifer and I are off on an adventure cycling with 5,000 other like minded people across the beautiful south coast of Australia.
Jennifer will be riding a road bike tandem as pilot along with our vision impaired friend Meredith as stoker, and I will be supporting them as domestique on my single bike.
Below is an excerpt from the ride page located here for today’s section:
A cruisy day of riding of 85 kilometres and just 200 metres of climbing.
Hit the road early for spectacular morning views over the ocean as we pedal out of Portland. Keep an eye out for the many historic buildings as you roll into Port Fairy before we set up camp for a well earned day off the bike.
Enjoy
David
