In one week from today, I will be getting on the first of three flights and heading back to the USA (after the recent GP Technical Conference in Fargo) for the User Group Summit North America 2019 Conference being held on October 15-18, 2019 at the Gaylord Palms Resort, Kissimmee, Orlando, Florida, USA.
My wife, Jennifer, will be coming with me to help with running our booth at the Expo Hall. Please come see us at Booth 222. Read on for more information on the two training classes and three sessions I am presenting.
Bob McAdam has announced that voting for the GPUG All Stars for 2019 is open from now until 30th August 2019.
There are 25 end users and 34 partners nominated and awaiting your votes for this year’s GPUG All Star award. Think of who of the nominees is out there actively promoting Microsoft Dynamics GP for the great product it is and is helping others with blog posts and helpful responses to forum questions.
Bob McAdam has announced that nominations for the GPUG All Stars for 2019 are open from now until 2nd August 2019.
You can put forward the names of customers and partners who your feel embody what it means to be a GPUG All Star. Think of people in the GPUG community who are out there actively promoting Microsoft Dynamics GP for the great product it is and who are helping others with blog posts and helpful responses to forum questions.
I am pleased to announce that there will be GP Power Tools training offered by the GPUG Academy during the training days before User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
We have previously run this training as two half day courses, but it worked best when students attended both the morning and afternoon sessions. So, this year we have decided to run the training as a single full day course on Monday 14th October 2019.
We have lots of new functionality to cover with the releases of Build 26 and Build 27 of GP Power Tools this year.
The 2019 conference season starts soon (just a week to Johannesburg, South Africa), and it is time to take advantage of the Dexterity Bootcamp training that is being run in the week prior to User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Dexterity is the development environment that Microsoft Dynamics GP is built on and the best tool to use for any customisation to the user interface of the product. Knowledge of Dexterity is vital for anyone customising Dynamics GP even when using other languages such as C#, VB.Net and even VBA (Visual Basic for Application).
The conference season for 2019 is approaching and I am going to be very busy doing lots of travelling, presenting, exhibiting and training.
I have been working hard on the development of the Winthrop Development Consulting products with new builds of GP Power Tools, Batch Posting Service Toolkit and Visual Studio Integration Toolkit being released already and another new build of GP Power Tools currently in development.
