SmartList Builder based on SQL View not returning data

David Meego - Click for blog homepageThis is a reposting of an article I originally wrote on my Developing for Dynamics GP blog.

I have yet another interesting case to discuss with you. The partner had created a set of views into the SQL data with the final view being displayed as a SmartList after being added using SmartList Builder.  This post is not going to cover how to use SmartList or SmartList Builder, but instead focus on the problem we were seeing.

POP Distributions randomly being deleted

Patrick Roth - Click for blog homepageThis is a reposting of an article Patrick Roth originally wrote on my Developing for Dynamics GP blog.

So many interesting cases, so little time to talk about them.

The Smartlist Builder GoTo won’t open my window

Creating SQL Views of Extender Data

David Meego - Click for blog homepageThis is a reposting of an article I originally wrote on my Developing for Dynamics GP blog.

Extender can create SQL views of the data in an Extender window which allows the data to be viewed as a single row in the view even though the actual data is stored as a multiple records across multiple tables (depending on data type).

This view can then be used by SmartList Builder to show the Extender data in SmartList.
