David Meego - Click for blog homepageWinthrop Development Consultants is pleased to announce Build 14 of Batch Posting Service Toolkit (BPST) for Microsoft Dynamics GP was released on 08-Apr-2024.

This build adds the ability to transfer Sales Order Processing batches.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: After the release of build 13 and with the aim of removing all builds with the security vulnerability, support for build 11 was discontinued at the end of 2023. Support for build 10 and earlier has already been discontinued. The final released build for each version of Microsoft Dynamics GP will not be discontinued. Sites running discontinued builds need to update before their subscriptions can be renewed. It is recommended that ALL sites update to the latest build to take advantage of the new features, enhancements and fixes.

Build 14 of Batch Posting Service Toolkit is available for the following Microsoft Dynamics GP versions:

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.2)
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.3)

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.6)

Adding Sales Order Processing Transfer

Added for Build 14, you can now call the ServiceTransferBatch API via Dexterity, Visual Studio Tools or GP Power Tools from inside GP and the System/SOPBatches Web Service end point via Service Based Architecture (SBA).

The Parameters include the Batch Source, Batch Number, Transfer Options, Item Shortage Option and Kit Shortage Option. The last three are specified using numbers and are described in the documentation and on the ServiceTransferBatch testing window inside Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Other Enhancements

For a detailed change log, look at the PostServ.txt file which is also installed with Batch Posting Service Toolkit into the Microsoft Dynamics GP application folder. To see the updated documentation, look at the user guide which is also installed with the product.
