Following on from the release of the Support Debugging Tool Build 17 hotfix, I am releasing a hotfix 2 build.

It turns out that some of the changes in the way the Support Debugging Tool adds buttons to the Standard Toolbar were still not perfect. We had a few reports that when the SDT dictionary was installed, newly created users would be missing their menus. The solution was to remove the SDT from the system and recreate the user, or to use SQL to drop the contents of the menu and toolbar tables, which will force them to be recreated.

While at Microsoft Convergence 2012 Houston, I was approached by Luc St-Yves to discuss a tool that he was creating that would allow Visual Studio Tools Addins to be updated on a live system. This is especially useful on a terminal server or Citrix system where you cannot get every user to disconnect when you want to put an update into production.

This build has over 50 changes and focuses on functionality for logging and debugging issues with Microsoft Dynamics GP, while still having some improvements for the database or application Administrator.

So we have decided to release Build 14.  This is primarily a maintenance release with bug fixes, minor enhancements and a couple of new features.  This build can be installed over the top of any existing installed build without needing to remove the old build first.
