At the reIMAGINE 2016 and GPUG Summit 2016 conferences, I promised that a new build of GP Power Tools was coming and that it would have lots of great features.

Well, I have been working hard and have now completed the coding phase of the development. I will now be working on updating the documentation in preparation for the release of the build.
On my blog, I have purposely kept far away from any comments on the recent Presidential Elections in the United States of America.
While I was recently in the US, I did discuss the topic with my American friends and colleagues, but it was not my place as an Australian to push my views at all. I was really interested to understand what my friends thought and had interesting conversations with those from both sides of the political fence.
Today is the 26th of January and in the “Lucky Country” it is the Australia Day public holiday.
Australia Day is celebrated on the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson in New South Wales and the landing of Governor Arthur Phillip in Sydney Cove.

I recently received feedback about Visual Studio Integration Toolkit complaining that the tool requires registration for each customer site it is being used at.
I wanted to take an opportunity to respond to the feedback with some history and facts about the product that will explain why it now requires registration.
